Theo Fabergé created the Alexander III Crystal as a tribute to his grandfather who was commissioned by the Tsar Alexander III to create the first Fabergé Egg for the Imperial Family.

The crest of Alexander III surmounted with the Imperial Crown is worked in 24 karat gold on lead crystal and is surmounted with Fabergé swags hand-painted in 24 karat gold.
