Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Theo Fabergé Creation?
A Theo Fabergé Creation is a handcrafted objet d’art, designed by Theo Fabergé and brought to life by master craftsmen using traditional techniques. Each piece continues the Fabergé tradition of storytelling, often concealing a hidden surprise, and is created with an uncompromising focus on precision, balance, and artistic integrity.
How limited are the Creations?
Each design is produced in strictly limited editions, often in very small numbers. Once an edition is complete, it is never reproduced. This ensures that every creation remains rare, collectable, and true to the principle of exclusivity that defines the Fabergé tradition.
Are the Creations still designed today?
All creations originate from Theo Fabergé’s original design archive. While he passed in 2007, he left behind an extensive body of work—enough to be realised gradually over more than two generations. Every piece released today is executed exactly to his original designs and standards, without reinterpretation.
Why do you not offer discounts?
This is a very natural and understandable question—particularly for collectors who may wish to acquire multiple pieces. If you had already acquired a creation, it would be entirely reasonable to ask whether a second purchase might be offered at a preferential price.
However, the principle of non-discounting exists to protect you as a collector. If a creation were to be discounted by even 5%, it would immediately affect the perceived value of pieces already collected. By maintaining a strict zero-discount policy, we ensure that every collector—past, present, and future—acquires their piece at the same level of value and integrity.
This approach protects the long-term positioning of each creation and allows collectors to build their collection with confidence, knowing they are always receiving the best and most consistent value for their money.
Is this an investment opportunity?
As we are not certified financial advisors, we would never position a Theo Fabergé Creation as a financial investment or offer financial advice.
What we can share, however, is the historical context of certain pieces. For example, the St. Vladimir’s Egg, released in 1988 at an original price of $4,500, sold out. In recent years, examples of this creation have sold for approximately $25,000.
That said, the true value of a Theo Fabergé Creation lies beyond financial return. Collectors are drawn to the craftsmanship, the heritage, and the story behind each piece. These are objects to be appreciated, lived with, and passed on—where emotional connection and artistic significance take precedence over purely monetary considerations.
Where are the Creations made?
Each Theo Fabergé creation is handcrafted in England by a select network of highly skilled artisans, working outside of a factory environment to preserve complete control over quality and detail. Every piece passes through the hands of multiple specialists—from silversmiths and goldsmiths to engine-turners and enamel artists—each contributing their expertise to bring the design to life.
Traditional techniques remain at the heart of the process. Guilloché engine-turning is carried out on antique engines, while enamel is applied in fine layers and kiln-fired multiple times at high temperatures, often requiring several firings to achieve the desired depth and colour. The slightest imperfection at any stage results in the piece being rejected, ensuring that only the finest examples are completed.
Materials are carefully selected for both beauty and longevity, including sterling silver, 18kt gold, and finely prepared enamel. Together, these elements create pieces that are not only visually striking but crafted to endure for generations.
In this section, the watches are crafted in Switzerland, a country renowned for producing timepieces to the very highest standards of horology. This ensures that every watch reflects the same uncompromising level of precision, craftsmanship, and excellence that defines the Theo Fabergé name.
What materials are used?
Creations are made using precious materials, including sterling silver, 18kt gold, and vitreous enamel. These are combined with traditional techniques such as engine-turning and hand-finishing, resulting in pieces that reflect both technical mastery and artistic refinement.
Do the creations come with presentation cases?
Yes. Each creation is presented in its own bespoke golden carriage case, designed to display the piece with elegance and quiet refinement while protecting it when not on display.
How can I learn more about how a creation is made?
The process behind each creation is as remarkable as the piece itself—combining traditional craftsmanship, technical precision, and artistic vision.

How should I handle and care for a Theo Fabergé Egg?
Each creation is a finely crafted objet d’art and should be handled with the utmost care and respect. Always lift the egg from its base, supporting it securely from underneath—never by the crown or finial, as this is the most delicate point and could be subject to damage. The egg should never be carried in its presentation case, as these are designed purely for display rather than transportation.
