The Egg is crafted in crystal and hand-painted and cut to resemble a ship upon the seas. The finial represents the Imperial Romanov Crown set with a cabochon ruby.
The surprise within is a family of emperor penguins huddled closely, protecting their vulnerable chick, crafted in sterling silver and 18-karat gold, set on a white, ice-covered crystal base.
Each creation is numbered and bears Theo Fabergé’s name—presentation in a golden carriage-case with limited edition certificate.
