Buddleia Egg

The tranquillity of a lazy summer’s day in an English country garden, with the scent of flowers, inspired this creation.

The hand-painted crystal Egg, surmounted by an Imperial crown set with a cabochon ruby, encloses three colourful enamelled butterflies dancing to the sound of Tchaikovsky’s Waltz of the Flowers.

The vermeil base, with its ornamental grass design and bubinga wood panelling, is detailed with a double-headed eagle; both conceal the hidden musical box.

The butterflies attracted to Buddleia, also known as the butterfly bush, dance to the beauty of the surrounding nature.
